Kin at Schonsee is being described as a boutique collection of single-family homes that will be anything but cookie cutter. Kin, sitting on 12 acres, will have 85 single-family homes when fully developed.
“Our community represents the first single family lots that directly back on to the existing 36-acre Schonsee Wetlands,'' said LaFrance. “It’s located on a quiet tree-lined street within the established and pretty vibrant neighborhood of Schonsee.”
“With over 40 per cent of all of our lots having views of the wetlands and parks, it was a natural decision for us to focus on Kin being family.”
Kin is directly off the Anthony Henday, is not too far from the Clareview LRT station and is a short distance from shops and services including the nearby Manning Town Centre.
A district commercial site will be located in the southwest corner of the neighborhood at 82nd Street and 167th Avenue.
A 1.8-hectare park is located north of the stormwater management lake, and a smaller 0.3-hectare park is located on the northeast shore of the lake.
Kin is one of the last subdivisions in the Schonsee neighbourhood, so parks and other amenities are already in place.
